What is Haze Method?
Haze covers the whole trip from your export to a post you can check. The optimizer takes videos up to 4K 120fps and has three engines: Haze Lite for quick posts up to 720p 60fps, Haze Classic for most videos, and Haze Max for HDR footage. If your file is HDR, the optimizer asks whether to use Max before anything is charged.
After optimizing, Haze Upload posts the file to TikTok through TikTok's official posting API, so you never move the file around. Then the Haze Check shows the quality TikTok actually serves on each device and whether the video reaches For You. That For You result is TikTok's own flag for the video, not an estimate from views. If you post from a computer, the Chrome extension keeps resolution and frame rate on uploads you make at tiktok.com.
What is Zilem Method?
Zilem Method's site describes an optimizer for MP4 and MOV files with no re-encode, and lists up to 4K 120fps and 1 GB a file on every plan. Its plans match Haze's: 30 free credits every Monday, Plus at $4.99 a month for 100 credits a week, and Premium at $9.99 a month with a 3-day free trial. It runs the Zeta engines (2.0, 3.0 and 3.5), signs you in with Discord, and offers a HandBrake option on Plus and Premium. Its site also links an Analyzer page for checking videos.
What is RTX Fury?
RTX Fury's site describes an optimizer for MP4 and MOV files (H.264 or H.265) on its RTX Engine 2.0. Access runs through Discord: joining the server gives 3 videos a day at up to 1080p 60fps and 100 MB, a Nitro boost unlocks 4K 60fps and 200 MB at 5 videos a day, and Premium, arranged with the owner, unlocks 4K 120fps with no daily or size limit. It can post for you through Auto Post if you add your own Zernio API key, and its Analyzer shows a video's quality, frame rate, region and shadowban status.
What is Editing News?
Editing News is a Chrome extension, installed from the Chrome Web Store, that you upload through on tiktok.com. Its site compares a standard upload, "usually 540-720p / 30 FPS", with its own result at up to 1080p 60fps, and does not mention 4K, HDR or a named engine. Before it works, the extension asks you to subscribe to the project's Telegram channel and community, and it ties your session to your Telegram ID and a browser fingerprint. Premium is $14.99 a month, activated through its Telegram bot, and lists guaranteed 1080p 60fps, no advertising in descriptions, priority support, a personal statistics dashboard and a built-in proxy inside the extension.
Which one should you use?
- You want to optimize, post and check in one place: Haze Method. It is the only one of the four with built-in posting through TikTok's official API and an HDR engine, and its check shows the For You result from TikTok's own flag for the video.
- You'd rather not sign in with Discord or join a channel: Haze Method, which also takes Google and Telegram and works without joining any server or channel.
- You want 4K 120fps without paying: Haze Method and Zilem Method both include it on their free plans, paid with weekly credits. RTX Fury's free tier stops at 1080p 60fps, and Editing News lists 1080p 60fps as its top quality.
- You already use Zilem, RTX Fury or Editing News: paste one of your posts into the Haze Check. It works on any TikTok video, whatever tool made it, so you can see what TikTok really serves before you decide.
